Nhi Vuong is a student at North Hennepin Community College, majoring in biology. She is a member of the Phi Xi Chapter at North Hennepin Community College. She became a regional officer because she is excited to get more involved, desires to make a positive difference, and experience greater opportunities to work with so many wonderful, open-minded, and friendly advisors and students in the Minn-Kota Region. She is looking forward to developing her networking skills by getting to know more of you and having more meaningful conversations with you all. She is eager to play a more active role in promoting the numerous, positive learning experiences that Phi Theta Kappa membership accords community college students. One of her most recent PTK experiences was co-hosting a workshop at the Fall Regional Convention, which she has described as a great learning opportunity. She would like to spread the word about more of them.
