The 18 piece Brooklyn Big Band was founded in 2006 by BUMC music director Michael Anderson and North Hennepin Community College Jazz Ensemble Director David Mantini. Originally formed to play big band jazz arrangements of Christian hymn tunes for services, the BBB has expanded to classic, standard, and modern jazz music suitable for any occasion or event including weddings, parties, dances, dinners and fundraisers.
